"We had a lovely night stay here. You’re on an island so some ants and bugs can be expected. This isn’t The Four Seasons so if you were looking for that you would be disappointed. What you will find staff willing to go above and beyond like Jonathan, who made our stay lovely. Love that you could just walk to the beach right behind the property. The peace and tranquillity you will find here is unmatched. I think this is the best place to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning. "

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Sierra Negra on Isabela Island for 3 nights. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves from the room. It is a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal and close to restaurants, tour companies and shopping. We LOVED being directly on the beach and having an ocean view that included breakfast. "The owner of the property let us check in early and check out late. She also provided a great breakfast every morning including homemade breads and fruit juices. She also helped us with our excursions and hailing taxis. Very nice host with pride of ownership."

"Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice.
