COVID-19 has transformed the world in endless ways, including how and where we travel. These tips will help you navigate these new challenges and prepare you for your flight to Isabela Island:

• Find out the restrictions and rules in both your origin and destination. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so don't forget to check before you book.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to briefly lower it for ID purposes. Passengers who refuse to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. Then, hold it up for inspection.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on baggage. You'll have to remove it for X-ray scanning.
• To minimize handling during screening, put items such as your phone, keys and wallet into your carry-on rather than the bins.
• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open and touch your bag for inspection.
