"The staff were extremely slow when in the dining room. It took ages for them to serve drinks and meals. A wait of 45 minutes was normal and between courses. We stayed at Brander Lodge many years ago and sadly it’s not a patch on the standard and friendliness of the staff. Won’t be going back to this hotel. Wife was in the shower when water stopped flowing due demand of other bedrooms using showers for ten minutes."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour.
