"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. "This was the last stop for our son a very long tour and we arrived at the hotel and and was so impressed by the views from the Bar and restaurant. Our bedroom was very large, comfortable and quiet. Do book dinner in the hotel restaurant as you will see beautiful views at night but also the food was excellent!"

"There was a mix up with the booking as we were down as dog owners!! Then we had no towels in the room which we had to chase down so we could shower before the meal we had booked. When we got to the restaurant there was more confusion about the booking. However, the restaurant staff were great and even after an issue with our meal order it was quickly resolved. The food was excellent."
