"Breakfast was good, and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel does look very dated though, and the carpets were very worn especially noticeable on the stairs. The room was clean and the hotel is in good location"
"Nice hotel but pool closed with no warning, staff smiling & helpful, just not enough of them. Service with a smile but slow. Everyone gave up and simply went to bar themselves. Bar ok if you like whiskey, somewhat limited if you don't. Room clean but radiator in bathroom didn't work, overall ok but personally would challenge a 4 star hotel rating "
"Such a cool old hotel over looking the sea. Floors are uneven due to how old it is but we loved our room overlooking the harbor, fun storm we watched from our room. Wish we were there for a longer stay!!"

"Hotel room had been refurbished at some point but starting to show a few niggles - bathroom door handle loose, bath room sink tap loose. Room itself was smaller than expected but adequate for our three day stay. We had a bay view room which lived up to those on the website.
Restaurant only offered a three course meal for dinner which was really good value. Breakfast was a bit hit or miss - some items were only warm (hash browns kept on a plate rather than a heated serving tray).
Car parking is a bit restricted otherwise parking is on the street / car park opposite which is free between 06:00 pm and 09:00 am.

"Found it quite easily and whilst the door lock is as sensitive as described got in ok. Room is a good size, clean and I liked the novel catering solution. Suited perfectly for my visit. Easy parking and a short stroll down to town if steep hills aren't a problem."
