"Loch Eyre House is a charming and private bed & breakfast. The fact that it's 7 miles from the traffic of Portree is a big plus-- at Loch Eyre House you have quiet and a beautiful view of Loch Eyre. "Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Unser Zimmer hatte deutlich sichtbaren Schimmel. Trotz mehrfacher Kontaktversuche reagierte das Personal überhaupt nicht, und ein alternatives Zimmer wurde uns ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Wahrend und nach dem Aufenthalt hatten wir Beschwerden, die nach unserem Eindruck mit der Situation im Zimmer zusammenhingen und erst Tage später vollständig abgeklungen sind. Auch das Frühstück war für die geschätzt rund 30 Gäste völlig unzureichend: etwa sechs Scheiben...

"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked.
