"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The understated quality was evident from the moment we checked in when we were invited to the garden for a glass of wine whilst the check-in paperwork was done and our bags taken to the room. The happy hour, the helpful staff and the breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the beach tourist sites but still have a sort of oasis to which to retreat."

"We spent four nights in a double room with breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and exactly as we would have expected for this hotel. Breakfast was quite good but as a small hotel lacked some of the breadth of options that might be found in larger establishments. The extra charging for egg orders was a shame. "The location is perfect for anyone with mobility issues as it is very close to San Marco and easily accessible by water taxi(approx € 70-80). The downside is that it is a busy area so mornings can be noisy. Breakfast was delightful and the staff are very kind and helpful. It also boasts an elevator, which is not common in small hotels in Venice."
