"Put us on 1st floor, despite our protests. The did move us on 2nd night. We did arrive at a high pressure time. High ceilings were nice but the room was fine, not excellent. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Casa del Poeta. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is ideal, a 7-8 minute walk to the royal palace and Cathedral and close to several excellent restaurants. The hotel service is impeccable and we particularly appreciated Jose's restaurant recommendations and his help booking reservations for dinner and a flamenco show. And we enjoyed having a glass of wine and listening to live Spanish guitar in the lovely hotel courtyard after sightseeing all day. We hope to return some day."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great. Most attractions were within walking distance. The hotel is right on a plaza with plenty of dining options and even a laundromat. Staff were friendly. We even received a bottle of free champagne during our stay. During Semana Santa, many processions pass through the plaza. We watched the processions either in the plaza or on the rooftop of the hotel. We will stay here again next time."

"Stayed for 3 nights with friends. Hotel, clean and comfortable beds with pillow menu! Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Only slight negative was design of bathroom. Relatively narrow gap between panels which may make getting in / out of the bath/shower difficult for some. "
