As part of a longer trip, my wife and I stayed at the Splendid to check out Buyukada. The hotel has great character and excellent interiors, with amazing furnishings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and for longer the next time we visit Buyukada.

Ours was an overnight stay for a birthday celebration. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, and the hotel is well preserved for a historic building. The art deco salon with original furniture and stylish cocktail bar is a great place to spend time in and drink a classic cocktail. During my birthday breakfast, the waiting staff provided a surprise cake, and we were also given a fruit platter on arrival and a late checkout before departing. A memorable stay in a charming hotel.

The hotel's ambience is enchanting, with decor that beautifully combines historical charm and modern luxury. The breakfast spread was extraordinary, featuring freshly baked pastries, artisan breads, fine cheeses and delicious deserts all presented with impeccable attention to detail. Walking through the hotel felt like a journey through time, with Island's historical artifacts and elegant furnishings creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The staff's warm hospitality and commitment to exceptional service made my stay even more enjoyable. The Splendid Palace Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury and tradition. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

The hotel is very pretty, the swimming pool wonderful but I went to rest and on the night of Saturday it was disco music, very very strong, at the entrance bar and restaurant, so Icould not sleep. The music was on until 1.30 am and you listening to it like you were in the middle of a disco bar. It is an old hotel, rooms are small, expensive, and our rooms were the worst

Generally pretty expensive for the area, the photos make it seem pretty good, but it was really no where near worth the $175 a night I paid. No AC, broken electrical outlets, non-working mini fridge (that claimed was working - just slightly below room temp was considered working to them). Its an old attractive building with a nice swimming pool and good breakfast. But that's about it.

Tarihi bir atmosferde konaklamak çok keyifliydi. Otelin içi çok güzel, yeri mükemmel. Eski yapı olması nedeniyle odalar çok ses geçiriyor. Ahşap yerlerde yürüme nedeniyle gıcırtı sesleri oluyor. Bunu bir hata olarak yazmıyorum, sese duyarlı misafirler olabilir düşüncesiyle bilinmesi gereken bir durum olduğunu düşündüğüm için yazıyorum. Kahvaltı ne yazık ki benim böyle bir otel için beklentimi karşılamadı. Ekmek servisi yoktu mesela. Biraz daha yerel ve özel gıda seçenekleri olmalıydı. Bir kez yemek yedik, ondan da memnun kaldığımı söyleyemeyeceğim. Fiyat-performans kötü. Pahalı yemek ama aynı oranda lezzetli ve doyurucu değil ne yazık ki. Adanın en güzel yerinde tarihi bir otelde konaklamak isteyenler için seçenek olabilir.
