"We loved this hotel. Best breakfast in Italy! They make the coffee that you want like I like a latte machiatto. That was a nice touch. The rooms are old school Italian and rustic but clean and make you feel like you are in Sicily. The VIEW is outstanding and the staff were very NICE and make you feel at home. "Lovely place. Staff so helpful. The self check im is a breeze they send two codes to open gates an doors easy. Rooms will Seawiews are stunning. Breakfast really nice too. When the tram is running its easy to get to downtown at moment buses do the journey from nearby square, easy wak.Mainland Ferry terminal is very close by, cautioun though if you have a big luggage take a taxi the 60 steps up to the road are a good climb."

"Villa Angela is a very beautiful hotel and it sits high up above Taormina in the mountains with incredible views of Mount Etna, and the Harbour. Everything was very clean, well kept and luxurious. The restaurant was delicious and the staff extra helpful. The pool was amazing. Truly a five star experience!"

"Definitely needs refurbishing. Old fashioned keys, no room safe, window security very poor and an en-suite had basin that moved as you touched it. Balcony felt dirty and had another room’s outside light shining all night into my room. Some of the electric lights in my room did not work. The swimming pool was good with an amazing view (but seating area around it had little shade) even if noisey from traffic. Pool bar open until 7pm, but bar downstairs then not open. The only drawback that we could see is the distance from any restaurants or activities. It’s somewhat isolated. But the positives much outweigh that one negative."
