The location of acqua is very appropriate. The place was fairly clean, the dish soap, hand soap can be improved for sure. The next door neighbor was extremely loud for about 8hours, we think the administration should’ve done something about it. Swimming pool very nice. Jaco is such a great town, fun to go out, great dining, the beach gorgeous and the ocean magnificent! For sure we will come back to Jaco not so sure to come back to The same condominium.

Gated Condo near everything, awesome!!

Gated condo next to everything! This was the best value on the beach. We shopped at the local market for food. Cooked breakfast every morning. Minutes from shops, bars. restaurants. Beautiful interior and grounds. Cant wait to go back.

I was very pleased with the security provided while staying at Acqua Residences. I received a phone call about 2 hours prior to 7:00 asking if I would be able to make it to the proper office to pick up the room keys. Thankfully, they left with property management because I wasn't sure I would have made it on time. The first room we stayed in was decent considering the neighboring properties. The kitchen was fully equipped. However, there were stains on the furniture and wear and tear. The a/c did not work for the two bed rooms, therefore after an unbearable one night, they graciously moved my family to a different room. This second room was nicer. The only downside was that the guest bathroom's shower knob was broken and had to be handled lightly and difficulty to get it to turn on the water. We did let management know because we didn't want them to think we broke it. We just delt with it and did not want them to move us rooms again. All in all, I truly had a blast and enjoyed my time in beautiful Costa Rica. We stayed for 5 nights. Would I book this place again? I would, just because everyone was super nice, they jumped to get something fixed, the concierge helped us out on several issues and always answered our questions with a great attitude, and the security was on point.

Convenient location

The condo is nice, my disappointment was that there was less than half a roll of toilet paper in the restrooms, very little cooking pots, no rice cooker, no dishwashing soap, etc. I have been to many other condos in Jaco and they have always been fully supplied prior to our arrival, this one was poorly supplied so I will NOT stay there again.

Un condominio bonito y còmodo con detalles a mejor

El complejo es muy bonito y el condominio tambien. Algunos detalles que deben mejorar para matener la calidad del lugar : revision del aire acondicionado, problemas con tuberias de baño principal, materiales minimos para limpieza deberian ser suministrados en cantidad razonable ( bolsas para basura y papel higienico) Debo comentar que los responsables del condominio trataron de arreglar los inconvenientes del agua y del aire acondicionado.Cuando busque paños estaban junto con ropa de cama en la secadora de ropa ...Son esos pequeños detalles los que deben de cuidar

Relaxing Vacation !

Jaco is a Traditional Beach town in Costa Rica. It has a lot of little shops and bar -restaurants. The Beach is beautiful with gentle waves. We enjoy walking to the estuary and watching Pelicans catching fish. Aqcua Residencias never disappoints ! 505 has great cable in Spanish ,with 2 or 3 English channels. The kitchen is BEAUTIFUL !

Aqua Residences in Jaco

It was a very nice home with nice furnishings and beautiful views and balconys. The only down turn was that it looked like it needed a good cleaning. Dirt in corners of rooms and shower stalls etc. Also, there was no simple things needed in a kitchen that a traveler would not have such as salt, pepper, oil, etc

Review Acqua Condo Rental in Jaco Costa Rica

Our rating not good. Check in process was time consuming. We arrived at the guard gate to find we had to drive to a different location to check in. This was in a backstreet residential neighborhood. Took a fair amount of driving around to find it. Finally arrived at our condo area & it did not match the pictures on the internet, even the furniture was different. We thought we were beach front because we were informed it was beach view condo. It ended up being located on the opposite side from the beach. The condo had several balconies but no balcony furniture. The lights were not working in the master bath, had to get maintenance to fix it which took more time. The room safe didn't work & we had to drive back to the residential neighborhood office to report it. When they indicated the safe was fixed, I went to use it and the batteries were dead and had to go back down and report it again. Eventually it worked. Next the facility internet would not allow us to log on due to limit of 2 users. We had to go back to the office in the neighborhood and they gave us one of their mobile internet units and it worked, but at the expense of more time. No hot water or even warm water in the showers although there was warm water in the sinks. Had to take very cool showers. The master BR flat panel TV was very small and we spent our TV view time in the main room.

Not worth the money

We chose Acqua Residences‏ because it was listed as 3.5 star accommodations with a swimming pool on the beach, with a kitchen and many other home-like comforts. It's really more of a 3 star hotel, were it in better condition. We stayed in 505. The master bed mattress was thin, hard and uncomfortable. The master bathroom had an unpleasant smell, like a latrine or sewage, to the point where I ran the bathroom fan all day. The living room furniture was in a sad state. The couch sagged under overused cushions, baring the stains of previous guests. The sitting chair in the living room was shamelessly falling apart--they just left the chair in the room with the unraveling material dragging to the floor. We couldn't figure out how to control the AC, so at night we were super cold. The swimming pool is only 3 feet deep and the pool chair cushions have seen better days. No one bothered to explain to us that there is no daily housekeeping, and with that, someone could have told us where to take out our trash. The ONLY redeeming characteristics of the Acqua Residences‏ are the staff. Sua tried so hard to ensure we had what we needed, and to solve any problems we encountered. Ariel and the onsite staff were friendly and polite. Unfortunately, I still cannot recommend staying at the Acqua Residences‏. It simply was not worth the money for the rundown accommodations.
