El hotel está muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro pero un poco aparte para desconectarse de la bulla. Perfecto para un fin de semana romántico.

Quiet and small

Cute place off the beaten track in Jaco. There is an option to purchase breakfast there for $6. Rooms are spacious and updated. It is about 30 min to Jaco walking.

Good for the money

I read previous comment and I was expecting worse. But it wasn't bad at all. Looks like they have re-newed the rooms, beds were clean, room were really clean and nice, bathroom really rice, hot water, air conditioning... The pool furniture would need some cleaning though :) My experience was excellent.. just remember this hotel is not very close from the beach...

Nice hotel with a great pool

We stayed for two nights at Hotel Green. The initial booking through Expedia was misleading as the pictures all show rooms with kitchens. We didn't have one. The hotel staff was very accommodating and we were able to switch rooms for one of the nights. We were told that Expedia doesn't book kitchen rooms, hence the very low price. The pool was warm and well kept. The rooms were clean and we had excellent water pressure in the showers. All in all I would recommend Hotel Green.

Horrible Family Vacation Experience!

My family and at arrived at Hotel Green on Dec. 26th after a 4 hour drive from Poas to discover that our Prepaid reservation would not be honored. We were very upset. We had booked well in advance over the phone through a booking agent. Hotel Green did make a reservation at a nearby hotel for us. They gave us a Partial reimbursement toward the new booking. We ended up having to pay out more money to the new hotel also. This issue took hours to resolve.

Hotel Green is a small hotel, with only 6 rooms, and it is a far enough of all the noise of downtown jaco, but still very close to everything, less than 2 minutes by car.

Small and very personal

The staff was really nice and full of information. No problem with language here. Arriving late at night made for a pleasant surprise in the morning with all the flowers. Reminded me of where I grew up in the US with people going to work and sweeping everything. Seems like everyone has a broom. After all it is tropical and I now know what a Gecko sounds like. Fun watching them scurry about and keeping the area bug free.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Green. It's away from the noisy Jaco centre so the environment was quiet andrelaxing. The place does need a new sign at the turn off to their hotel.

Nice hotel. Great price

The hotel was very nice, no complaints except that there was no holder in the shower for soap, shampoo, etc. It was clean and neat and air-conditioned. It would have been a little hike to the beach, but we chose to drive and had no trouble parking.

Mala calidad de atención

Fundamentalmente lo que falló fue la calidad de la atención,pues estaban sin internet y sin sistema administrativo.Además el baño estaba con muy mal olor, había telas de araña y 2 pequeñas arañas en el techo, lo que habla pésimo del aseo del hotel

Quiet hotel apart from the noise

I liked the place where the hotel is because it was very quite, far from the noise and crowd. In the other hand this means I had to use my car to go to the beach every time. The hotel didn't have restaurant either but I think it was fair for the cost.

Nice place!

It is a nice hotel. Keep in mind that it is not located close to the beach (3 minutes to the beach by taxi). It was nice having a kitchenette. The rooms are clean, and the staff is pleasant. They need to change the fitted sheets that cover the mattresses, they were very clean however they keep coming off the mattress while you are sleeping, it happened to my friend as well. Overall, it is a nice and pleasant hotel to stay in, the staff is very helpful.

en realidad el hotel no es el problema mas bien fue la persona que nos resibio una señora jolee o algo asi que mal nos resibio llebe la confirmacion de ustedes que desia habitacion con cosina y ellase nego adarnos con cosina y de muy mala gana nos atendio en realidad nunca e pasado esto en ningun lugar yo pague por un servicio y se me nego es increible

Al principio nos pareció que el hotel, para el precio económico que tiene no estaba mal, pero comprobamos que es mejor pagar un poco más e ir a un hotel con más nivel. De todos modos, si añades el desayuno ya no es tan barato. La habitación no la hicieron porque para ello hay que colgar un cartel pidiendo que te la limpien (al contrario de los demás hoteles, que en el cartel pone NO molestar). En la nuestra ni vimos el cartel, ni la recepcionista nos lo dijo. Había bastante ruido que debía ser del aire acondicionado de otra habitación y el grifo estaba medio pegado.

Great, quiet hotel perfect for families

We wanted to stay somewhere away from the loudness and craziness of Jaco, but still close enough to be there in 3 minutes. Hotel Green is a perfect hotel for what we were looking for. My kids loved the pool and we saw at least 9 big parrots in the tall tree in the garden. We had a room with a kitchenette which was very useful for our family. The staff was very helpful and sweet and our stay couldn't have been nicer. We felt that our car and belongings were safe, and it was nice having the hotel tucked off of a quiet road. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Très bon hôtel

Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire qui parle Français couramment. L'hôtel fait plus maison de famille avec 8 chambres sur 2 niveaux avec accès à une piscine et un petit jardin. L'ensemble est calme et reposant. Seuls points négatifs : une clim dans la chambre assez bruyante ; le petit déjeuner peut être servi dans l'hôtel mais doit être commandé au préalable à l'extérieur (la propriétaire se charge d'aller le chercher) et le ménage de la chambre n'a pas été fait.

No towels

I went there with my 2 kids and did a late check in (6 pm - 7 pm) aprox, and our room wasn't ready! And I called in advance to tell them I was on my way to the hotel. They should've checked out on my first call, THERE ARE ONLY SIX ROOMS IN THE WHOLE HOTEL! After I checked in, I had to wait outside on the pool for 30 minutes, to receive the news that they had NO TOWELS available. Some problem with the dryer they said. Is that my problem? Well, no. They should have towels, buy them or whatever to have the room according to their standards.

Comfy, close to the beach, and quiet

I would definitely stay here again! I can't speak on the hotel food as we didn't get a chance to eat there, but everything else was nice. It's on the beach but about a 15 minute walk, so you're away from all the danger and crazy night scene. Very satisfied!
