"The property was wonderful. The garden area has a beauitful koi pond with lush landscaping. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfaat was delicious, well stocked and constantly resupplied. The staff was very helpful, courteous and kind. There are homeless all over Eureka, and here was no exception, but cameras and security kept them off the property. "Check in staff were very friendly and efficient. Hot tub and pool area were very clean. Hot tub good temp and working order. Room comfortable and clean. Used the laundry service which was a bonus. Breakfast had good options and good quality. "

Complementary breakfast is a nice variety of make your own waffles! Coffee is good. Something for everyone.Close to where you want to be!"

"It's a neat historic hotel located on the town square which is a great location in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. They had a great farmers market on the Square on Saturday. Very cool. The hotel is old but classic. The room was large and the bed comfortable. It's dated but clean. They could probably do away with the dated wall paper and it keep it's charm. Staff very friendly. We had a nice time. For us much classier than a corporate run of the mill hotel "

"I have stayed many times at this Red Lion as I have property in the area. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. Areas that might be addressed that twice now when I take a shower before bed, the hot water is just luke warm. Secondly, the large parking lot often seems littered a bit and open to break-ins. There could also be a lamp on the table that has outlets for computers, etc. "
