Situed just minutes from the Expo the hotel is very clean and the staff are all extremely helpful and genuinely welcoming. I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re heading to an event at the Expo!

Great property located at the expo. It’s within walking distance to the expo. It works as a business hotel. Only thing is that I was staying at lower levels and the water pressure from the shower was terrible. At some point, there was no hot water as well. They do not have an iron in the room despite being a business hotel. It’s quite unusual to be sharing iron board in a common laundry room. Aside from that, the hotel worked.

Had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Simatupang for a night. The hotel offers great value for the price, making it a solid choice for a short stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials. One of the highlights of this property was the nice new pool (Which you rarely find in other Holiday Inn Express), . Definitely a good option for those looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in the area. Thank you!

the hotel is mainly catering to people visiting the Jakarta Expo as there are no dining or retail facility within walking distance from hotel. During expo, the breakfast area is clearly not able to cope as breakfast area is very small and cramp and makes breakfast time very uncomfortable. Room itself is comfortable and staff are friendly

Don’t do it.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the type whi was expecting 5star hotel treatment, but as a big international brand I was definitely waiting more. Firstly, my flight got cancelled and I ended up arriving one day later. They refused to refund this day, which would be kind from their side, but it’s understandable. However, first nigght the shower was weak and cold, second night no TV. Also no table for breakfast, at any time. Had to had breakfast in a starbucks one day and next day had to eat stading up by the pool. But the craziest part is that the hotel charges parking fee if you call a uber or uber eats (in this case grab)! Believe me: they charge the driver, and consequently the guest who is staying there everytime you go in or out by taxi, uber (grab), or order food. You can either walk to the street or pay the fee literally for pick up or drop off. Ahh, before I forget, there is a race track in front of the hotel, full time engine and drift noise. If you expect to work, forget it. In general, a bad experience that makes me rethink if will ever stay again in IHG hotel.
