"The owner takes personal responsibility for making sure all of her customers have everything they need. Breakfast was really great. The room and bathroom are clean. If you arrive by train, you have to take a shuttle bus to the village, Volastra. It's a 10-15 min ride. The shuttle goes every 30 to 60 minutes until 11:45ish."

"15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."

"The place is centrally located, the room was clean and staff was nice. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for being centralized and parking. Never once mentioned that for parking you must reserve your spot. Their parking was always full and without availability. Recommend you contact place right after booking to reserve parking at the location. Otherwise expect to park away from property, a 10-15 minute walk. After seeing location, if parking is not an issue for you I recommend looking...

"I highly recommend this hotel for the hospitable staff, beautiful setting, quiet yet accessible location and wonderful buffet. The rooms are super clean, and the hotel has a lovely outdoor seating area. The bathroom has a powerful shower and aromatic liquid soaps. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the beds and pillows were uncomfortable for us. Be prepared for extra firm mattresses, and flat pillows, one per person. I would come here again, but honestly didn’t have the greatest...

"This stay was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful and considerate. My only advice to travelers is to consider taking a taxi to get there, as the walk from the train station (and vice versa) is about a half hour, mostly uphill."
