"Clean room; great staff; amazing view"

"Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular."

"Clean, great price, super pleasant staff. Judging by the name you'd think there'd be sand everywhere in the room. Not the case. Surprisingly clean. Bit noisy with street traffic in morning but maybe ask for back bldg away from street. Got in at midnight so didnt see until morning but next door was a liquor/convenience/deli. Less than a minute drive to the main Pismo Beach access. Took kid surf fishing in morning. We are used to more hotels in SLO than motels, but we would 100% book a room here...

"The rooms are clean & nicely kept for it being the 1st ocean front lodging in the area. The view from the private grounds are amazing & Jade is very nice & helpful. Small cons: the website says, “Our Full Hot Breakfast: COVID ALERT! WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SERVE DUE TO PANDEMIC”. This still applies, but has a nice selection of to go items and a great coffee machine that makes specialty coffees. "

"This place is beautiful and the view we had was incredible!! They put us on the top floor (8) with an ocean view. It was clear and gorgeous!! Room was immaculate and very roomy. The staff was exceptionally polite. I will definitely go back for a special occasion."

"I didn’t find anything wrong with my stay! From the super clean room, jacuzzi awesome in the room. The ocean view was great and got to see the sunset from outside the patio area. If you plan to go to the beach it’s about 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. I just wished I stayed extra days! "

"Place was cool, spacious, and modern. Had everything you’d need for a pleasant stay. Booked the Elite room specifically for the soaking tub. Room also had a standup shower. Had a microwave, mini fridge, and Nespresso coffee machine. Nestled location but only a mile and a half from historic Mendocino. My only issue would be the mattress comfort. Could be a more plush and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when the weather is nicer. "

"Room was comfortable, spacious and the fireplace was a nice added touch. The indoor pool was perfect for a rainy day. The location was convenient. The hotel is by great surfing beaches and also close enough to spend the day in San Francisco. Would highly recommend!"
