Have stayed at this hotel a few times and never disappoints .The service and food here is excellent.The staff is polite and everyone here is very welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel, one of the best hotels in Jalandhar.

Everything was good but they weren’t able to get us in on either day in the restaurant even though we had asked multiple times and had gotten the suite. They would tell us the restaurant was booked by 7pm but was walk in and they closed at 11pm just doesn’t make sense that your restaurant would be booked 4 hours before closing and you don’t take reservations. On this alone I probably wouldn’t go back because the service obviously wasn’t there for them to make the effort to get us in on request.

Once again an excellent and comfortable stay!!
3 nights at the Maya Hotel and it felt like I'd never been away, a real home from home in a good way ;-). I last stayed at the Maya Hotel in 2017 and since then family and friends on my recommendation have done the same and not been disappointed. 2 years on the welcome and courtesy shown by all staff from the security, doorman, reception, room service, restaurant etc continues to be of a high standard. Some positive improvements to the front of the hotel and in the restaurant and the rooms continue to clean and comfortable. Free Wifi for multiple devices, well stocked mini bar and the fixtures and fitting in the room are good.Room service and the selection of food is excellent and good value. Buffet or the Al a Carte menu selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner is good. As with all hotels a refresh of certain fixtures and fittings is probably due but there was nothing in my room or elsewhere that did not work or was of a good standard. Rajeev the front office manager who was still in the hotels employ, was as usual excellent from arranging me to be picked up from Amritsar airport to arranging any little excursions I wanted. His "can do" and positive attitude persists with all the other hotel staff. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Maya Hotel when I am in the Punjab again and use it as a base for any other excursions. I would also continue to recommend it to friends and family. Once again well done Maya Hotel!!

The dining room table covers were smeared, on enquiring, got the information that they change the upper white cover regularly but the one under neath was changed less frequently. This is the one I pointed out to the management. This cover remains uncovered by about 9” all around. This part was badly smeared and dirty om several tables.

This is not a uk standard 4 star property 2* at most .Wasn’t able to check in until 4.30pm , room was not the cleanest , no hairdryer in room , WiFi is shockingly slow not even 1mb - unacceptable in 2019 , staff could not understand even basic English, service levels were poor and requests were not answered. Shower was rubbish with hardly any water flow Bed was comfortable but that’s about it ! Breakfast was limited with very little western choice - omelette was the only option available . Restaurant wasn’t any better , again staff do not understand basic English, service was slow it took them 15 mins to get me a shot of whiskey, staff do not know there own menu and bought out different dishes than what was ordered , when they were notified instead of rectifying the issue they began to argue , had to call the manager , staff pretty rude and ignorant, one of them even said they hated working there ! Checked out after 2 nights and would not recommend or come back !! The only thing 4* about this hotel is the price . Do yourself a favour and stay at Ramada Encore not only will you get clean rooms and a good service you will also save money . Overall I can’t give this place more than 2 or 3 out of 10 .

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking your time to review the Maya Hotels, Jalandhar. (A): Wasn’t able to check in until 4.30pm, room was not the cleanest, One of the guest member called up hotel at 10:00hrs to have all 03 booked rooms before 11:00hrs. where in it was told that check–in time is 2pm & due to peak season all 03 rooms would not be available before 2 pm. Hotel has accommodated your request of offering one room before 12pm & rest others later in the evening as other members went for shopping in town. (B): no hairdryer in room , Suite & Maya club has in-room hair dryer & for rest others room type (your booked Deluxe) hotel provide on request basis. (C.): WiFi is shockingly slow not even 1mb - unacceptable in 2019 , Hotel provide free wireless basic internet access, where individual user bandwidth speed may vary from 64 kilobits per second to 128 kilobits per second. Hotel do not guaranteed uninterrupted internet service(UIS) which is consisting of various components depending on many factors not limiting to user device only. (D): Shower was rubbish with hardly any water flow The Maya Hotel has best available Bossini 3-5 functions shower heads unlike other Jalandhar Hotels using convention local ones. (E.): Breakfast was limited with very little western choice - omelette was the only option available . Out of total 55-60 breakfast items, 16-19 consisting western items cannot be consider limited one. (F): staff do not know their own menu and bought out different dishes than what was ordered After verifying with CCTV audit above & below one it confirms that in this case it was restaurant server mistake that ordered boneless Rogen Josh was served with bones which was replaced correctly without bones within 7 minutes serving time. Your demand of 25% discount on food & beverage was declined by hotel as such we do not offer F&B de

5 Stars and well done
I have stayed in the Maya Hotel for sometime and would highly recommend it for location and as a friendly hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast offering is great as they offer a huge variety of dishes for every taste. If needed they will also cook your choice freshly made. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. This hotel is a must if you are travelling to Jalandhar. We dont stay anywhere else.

Nice location
Rooms are on smaller side. Bedsheets and towels need a MAJOR upgrade .They are Off white/ dirty white in color and Not crisp white as we are used to in western hotels . Room service is excellent . Morning breakfast is well organized and has lot of choices. Overall good place to stay for reasonable price.

Lovely Hotel Suite
After a few minor hiccups at check in and in the room (kettle broken, toilet had trouble flushing..) our overnight stay was lovely. The suite had 5 rooms, including another separate toilet room and dressing room. Restaurant was authentic both at dinner and breakfast. Service in restaurant was excellent.

Great Place to stay
I have used this hotel for the last six years and I have always found the hotel team giving their best.The manager Mr R Gupta takes an interest in the guests and goes out of his way to help the guests. This is the only hotel I have who do not take credit card swipe to secure the charges.

I like the location of the hotel.
1) The Wi-Fi was absolutely unreliable, erratic and almost useless. 2) The electronic key card had to be taken to reception for resetting almost daily. 3) The room thermostat did not always respond to temperature settings

This is certainly not the experience that we wanted you to have. (1): Wi-Fi internet service: Hotel provide free wireless basic internet access, where individual user bandwidth speed may vary from 64 kilobits per second to 128 kilobits per second. Hotel do not guaranteed uninterrupted internet service which is consisting of various components depends on many factors not limiting to user device only. (2): The electronic key card need to be revalidated only during extension of guest checkout unless it is exposed to EMR of mobile phone. (3):In-room AC thermostat temperature settings has been fixed, which occurred due to technical failure. Please visit us again and since your visit we have made some feasible improvements, including installing internet access points for better internet RF signals.. Warm regards & best wishes,

Stayed for one night with family. Entrance was congested and not convenient. Inside it was OK. Rooms are clean but needs reconditioning at this stage.

Best Hotel in Jalandhar
Great service. Super staff who care for their guest. I would never stay anywhere else. Rajiv Gupta the manger and the team including chefs looked after our needs at a personal level. Manish and chef Sanjeev went out of their way to provide us with dishes of the menu it was amazing. We will back again to visit the hotel in February 2018 . I have already booked again. Keep up the good work and stay number 1 . Thank you

Nice hotel great location
Great hotel in a very good location minutes from macdonalds and pizahut. The hotels has a bar on the ground floor and restaurant on the 1 first floor which was excellent for us. The staff are very professional and always willing to help the manager Mr Gupta is always at hand. The beds are also very comfortable i will recommend this hotel great experience Thank you.
