"If you are looking for a hotel at Terminal 5 in Heathrow there are closer options. You would think this property is located in the airport like the description states but this hotel is 20-25 minutes from the terminal and $60 in an Uber. We booked this as a quick overnight stay to take an early morning flight and were disappointed. While driving to the hotel we past at least 5 other hotels that were within 5-10 minutes. "Room felt very warm and, despite asking at Reception before we went out for the evening for it to be adjusted, it didn’t seem any cooler when we returned. Nice, smart hotel in convenient location but I did not feel comfortable with the security, or rather the lack of it. Rooms are accessible directly from the bar and restaurant areas with no need to show or swipe a room card to gain access. If I were travelling alone this would be a huge issue for me and would make me want to go elsewhere."

"This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. "Conveniently placed in a shopping centre with free parking available. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and fine for an overnight stay. Plenty of options for breakfast and dinner nearby. "Bedroom was very good. Balcony was great to watch the planes fly over head. Staff were mostly helpful. Inside pool was very cold. There was no instructions how to use the pool lockers. Breakfast was delicious."
