"The room was OK but the bathroom was in disrepair. The tissue holder and the toilet tissue holder were both rusty and broken/bent. The bathroom door had a relatively large hole in it at the bottom from obvious pet damage. Walls were cracked around the tub and in other areas. Very disappointing."

"I recently stayed at Best Western Magnolia Inn and Suites and overall had a really pleasant experience. What truly made our stay stand out was Zoey at the front desk. She was honestly one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. Her personality was warm, kind, and welcoming, and she was so attentive and engaging with us throughout our entire stay. Anytime we needed anything like extra towels or toiletries, she didn’t hesitate at all and made sure we were taken care of right away. She’s definitely the reason our stay felt so comfortable. The area itself wasn’t bad at all, and the hotel has a cute, cozy feel to it. The only thing I would mention is that the property does seem a bit outdated compared to other Best Westerns I’ve stayed at, and it could benefit from some updates. That being said, everything was clean and well-kept, so I really can’t complain. Overall, it was a good stay, and the excellent service especially from Zoey made it even better :)"

"Amazing property connected to nature. Loved the daily substantial breakfast. The place was remote enough to offer peace and quiet but close drive away from the historic city center. Easily walkable to the neighboring Middleton Place garden which was beautiful. Will definitely be back!"

"The stay was not what I was anticipating. Before arriving, I was trying to locate other hotels but the selection was limited. I did not participate in the "easy" check in process based on reviews from it so I visited the front desk, for check in. It didn't take long or the timing was just right. I get to the room and it was heavily smoked in. I escalated the complaint and there was nothing to be done. I called first thing the next morning and was able to get another room. No, it was not smoked in but later in the day, there were smokers next to the room. Not only that, there were several other guests who were smoking in the rooms. It was kind of mis-leading to request a non-smoking room to still be put in one. Hopefully it is something that is checked frequently but check the sheets and surrounding areas. The continental breakfast was bypassed due to timing. Microwave popped popcorn in a terrible way. Mini fridge kept water cold but unsure how cold it would keep other things. The motel was near retail stores, grocery store, fast food spots, and gas stations. I would NOT recommend walking in this area as traffic was not the greatest. This establishment was by the interstate and it was not the quietest. The walls are thin as you could hear your fellow guest doing whatever in the room next to you. I'm not sure if hotels.com signal certain RSVP to get the less than greatest bookings but this experience was not the greatest. The price was not sufficient for the level of stress"
