"Our suite that overlooked the Aare River was fabulous! The views are breathtaking! The staff was always at our service with smiles on their faces. We really enjoyed the Terrace and Noumi (restaurant on site). The location is in the perfect central location where you can walk everywhere."

"Loved the hotel! Beautifully decorated, perfectly designed, great facilities and in great shape. Loved the hangout area on the 8th floor as well, plus the laundry facility. There were not many places to eat dinner but it was right beside the train station so super convenient to train anywhere we wanted to go. Definitely recommend!"

"Nice modern hotel with nicely appointed rooms that were very clean, had AC and WIFI. Location was great to get the Number 10 bus to town in only 10 minutes. Great large breakfast included each day. Front desk staff were very helpful answering questions we had."

"Nice hotel… sort of strange layout where the entrance to the room was at an angle with a large drop. If you are a plus sized person you should know the entrance to the shower and the shower itself is quite small. I’m a 2X and getting into the shower was… let’s say more exfoliating on my midsection than I’ve experienced before and I doubt anyone larger than me would be able fit at all."

"We were so glad we stayed at teh Sternen Muri. At the beginning we worried we were too far away from Bern Center. But once we took the Number 6 tram(I think that is the correct number) from near the clock tower, we realized it was not far at all. The hotel was extremely clean and well run. The a.c. was fine and we loved the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant with a nice little balcony."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were polite. The only downside was that everything cost money. For example, you have to pay for slippers that are provided free of charge everywhere. It was a bit far from the city center and after 7 pm, the area was completely silent and nowhere was open. I do not recommend this hotel for smokers."

"There is a set of stairs when you get to the hotel and very hard to get your luggage up. The hotel is not completely in the city center but very close and the hotel provides the transportation ticket. The breakfast was very good, the hotel is super clean, and the staff are really friendly and professional."
