"My stay at Blue Reef was nothing short of magical. I truly felt like I was home and by the end of my visit, the staff felt like my extended family. They remembered me, cared for me, and made me feel genuinely special through the smallest, most meaningful gestures from offering me fresh passion fruit when I simply asked to take a photo of it, to inviting me behind the bar to show me how their fresh juice is made. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking some of the most beautiful moments I experienced in Zanzibar. One of the highlights of my stay was requesting an off-menu dish: ugali. The chef personally came out to ask how I liked the meal, which turned out to be the most delicious food I’ve had since arriving in Tanzania. My time in Zanzibar and especially at Blue Reef was pure magic. I’m beyond grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable memories, and I cannot wait to return with my family."

"Everything at fun beach was above our expectations. The rooms are very clean. The grounds and ocean view are spectacular, and the staff is the best, very welcoming and courteous. Margaret, who set up our day trips is the best and very easy to talk with. Rachel at the bar and restaurant is exceptional. She remembers the guests by name and is always smiling and cheerful. All the staff here are always greeting us with Jambo Jambo and asking if we need anything, and when we say everthing is great, it’s Hakuna matata. The pools are wonderful with the main pool by the seating area covered so you can enjoy the water all day without looking like a lobster on someone’s plate. We had 3 nights booked and were going to go to Nungwi, but after our 3 nights we did not want to leave. We were able to extend our stay another 4 nights. We are in the hospitality business also. We can not say enough about Fun Beach Hotel and staff!"

"Our stay at the Passion Boutique Hotel was super fantastic. It could not have been better. We loved the location and the pool. Our room was delightful and had everything we needed (and some things we didn't know we needed like the ice machine!) We ate all our meals during our three day stay in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were great but some were just outstanding. I had some of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Delicious! Madelina and her staff do an amazing job making sure everything goes smoothly. They are always checking to see that you are doing well. The wait staff are all lovely and display the right amount of amusing. Madelina helped me when I had booked flights for a very inconvenient time. Thank you. We highly recommend this Hotel and wish we could go back more often. However, it is approximately 15,000 kilometers away from our house. "

"would stay here again. Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated that aspect of my stay. However, the biggest issue I experienced was the strong smell coming from the toilets, almost as if the sewage system wasn’t working properly. It was unpleasant and made the stay uncomfortable at times. Maybe it was just our room. "
