"The staff, Cindy and Hector, were excellent. The Villa on the Papapagay Resort was excelllent! I am not an AC person, so for us to have control of our own AC in our own 2 bedrooms was just wonderful. We had our own bathrooms too. The 80 degree weather with the continuous breeze from the huge wrap around porch (with the native birds visiting us) into the livingroom/kitchen added to our wonderful experience! "If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
I traveled to Curaçao as a solo female traveler, and this was my first time traveling outside of the country alone. Safety was my biggest concern, but from the moment I arrived at Pietermaai Oasis, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The location is perfect I was able to walk downtown, explore the area, rent my own car, and easily get to restaurants and beaches without ever feeling uneasy.
