"Didn’t like the executive room which was in the stable area and on top floor. Needs refurbishing"

"The room was just what we needed. A bed for the nights. The bathroom was in need of an update but all still working. There was building work being done until quite late on Friday (after we had returned to the room from dinner). But I assume this is being done in the holiday season for the uni for a reason. The staff at the main hotel were very pleasant and friendly but it was very busy on both days that we were there."

"Nice location, clean room and a wonderful breakfast served by a lovely lady who was very welcoming and created a good experience. The type of property and location was perfect for me as I prefer to stay away from big hotels, and it certainly lived up to my expectation. I stayed on a Monday night and when I returned at 9pm from a local event the bar and restaurant were closed and no staff around. It would be good to know about that in advance, so best to check before arrival if that is important...
