"Charming "Frenchiness", well preserved building with tasteful interior design; not "boutiqued". Well located in a lively neighborhood, still a quiet register once in the hotel. The attached Café also deserves credit, as a complement to the hotel per se. I'll repeat the selection when in Marseille again."

"This property lacks staff, which makes unexpected situations difficult to resolve. For example, it has a lovely rear garden for guests' use. However, access to it is through a door which is locked or unlocked as guests remember. I was locked outside, by an inattentive hotel staff member no less, who locked the door from the interior without checking to see if anyone was outside. I was trapped in the garden for 45 minutes until another guest happened to come downstairs, saw me, and unlocked...

"Beautiful view, but definitely not 4 star hotel. Very hot at night in the room, they must have turned the ac off. Disappointing, expected much better for the price and presented as a 4 star hotel, but is rather 2 stars."

"The accommodations were fair at best. No water in the room. Concrete flooring. No amenities. I guess we paid for location because the hotel was not great. Hot, noisy from the street activity and when we first got there our accommodation was not in the main hotel. In order to stay in the main hotel to avoid walking four blocks further with all our luggage, we had to upgrade to a "family" room which consisted of a double bed and a bunk bed. Not what we thought it would be."

"De kamer op de vierde verdieping met terras is prima en ruim. Je kan na de drukte van de stad in je kamer tot rust komen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en laten je met rust. Het ontbijt is ruim van keuze. De ligging vinden wij goed, niet ver voor allerlei bezienswaardigheden en restaurants, en toch wel wat uit het drukke centrum. Het hotel was netjes, eens je de inkom aan de achterzijde voorbij bent kom je in een heel andere positieve sfeer."

"We were very happy with our stay here. We arrived a little early and the staff was happy to store our luggage until we could check in. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. They said they were very full, so we had an upgraded room. We loved the balcony and enjoyed going out and relaxing on it. It was an unexpected bonus! We had the breakfast and it was very good, although if I had 1 critique, the hot items could have been warmer. But we still enjoyed it. Everything was very clean...

"I wasn’t aware of the no washcloths thing in France. You get hand towels and towels. In a great location close to dining, shopping, etc. All within walking distance."

"Everything was clean and in good order, except that the A/C in the bedroom was not working at all, and unfortunately there was nothing the staff could do. It was also strange that the sink was in the room with the shower instead of with the toilet, but it worked. All of the staff that we dealt with were really friendly and helpful, big shout out to Thomas who was so nice and helped us a lot with directions and restaurant recommendations."
