"We love staying at The Ruby! This is our fourth stay. The property is well maintained, relaxing and just a few blocks from downtown Roundrock. Whenever we go for our Dr appointments we stay here because there is no wall to wall carpeting in any of the rooms, only area rugs. We have allergies and carpet is a big NO for us. The rooms are very nice, clean and stocked with some goodies for your to enjoy during your stay. Surprisingly, the prices are decent compared to what other hotels charge. The staff is attentive to the needs of their guests and it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Brushy Creek. I only wish they would figure out a way to install a lift of some type to get to the second floors. Even if you are not elderly or have a handicap, it is a little cumbersome to get your luggage up the steps and they don't always have ground floor rooms available. Other than that, this is a WONDERFUL place to stay!"

"This was a beautiful hotel! Our only real complaints were the breakfast and the beds. The breakfast was not served hot, and the first morning, unfortunately, it was not very good at all. The beds were also much firmer and harder than we prefer. Everything else was wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We do wish the pool area had a jacuzzi, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend it!"
