We thought this would be a nice spot to stay and “splurged” on a one night (>$900) room. Upon check in, we were told that due to a maintenance issue, our two queen room was not available. They claimed they could not get in touch with us, since we booked through hotels.com. The only available was a king bed, with a sofa bed. We then learned that the outdoor hot tub was broken too. After our stay, we received an emailed survey from the hotel. We replied with our issues — no follow up whatsoever. We reached out to hotels.com, as a frequent user, they said they would reach out to the hotel. We called the hotel and got the general manager’s email. We sent an email, no response. Do not stay here. The Westin next door looks nice and also has Starbucks in the lobby. We were directed there by the hotel. Issues happen, but when you spend >$800 a night, you expect to have the amenities you book, you also except accountability and concessions if things aren’t available.
