"So disappointed with our very expensive room with terrace. Bilbao is wonderful and the view from the room was spectacular but there were lots of little details that let the experience down; there was a cigarette burn on a cushion on the terrace chair, another large burn mark on the bathroom sink surround (hot hair tongs?), the planting on the terrace was looking very sad and eaten by bugs, a raucous party on first night in the room next door, scraping sounds of furniture from 6am which were...

"Last minute pick when other hotel cancelled, but turned out to be a much better option. Ignore the fact it’s across the river, it’s only a few minutes easy walk over the pedestrian bridge from all the action. Fourth floor room had a little noise from the bars in the street, but it cut out quite abruptly at some point before midnight. "

"This hotel quietly meets the needs of its visitors, from the well planned rooms, fabulous breakfast, of which there are three levels, to the honesty bar, a comfortable place to sit and read through art books. The staff on the desk could not be more helpful. Location opposite the Guggenheim museum and outdoor snack bar couldn’t be better. Without hesitation we’d stay here again. "

"I had a fantastic one night stay here and the location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the museums and fantastic restaurants. The staff was very helpful and made sure I had a taxi at 5am. My room was very nice and spotless. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks everyone for a great stay!"

"We had an issue with the AC but staff came and fixed it. Only decaf coffee packets available. No bedside lighting on the 3rd and 4th beds. But overall we loved the property. The location was perfect if you want to be in the middle of the action in old town."
