Top Douglas Memorial Bridge - Historical Memorial Hotel Reviews
Quality Inn & Suites Crescent City Redwood Coast
4/10 Poor
"The place was very clean and the front seat manager was very nice. However, the place needed a little upgrade. One of the lamps was missing a light bulb and the dresser/night stand was missing handles.
Our room was next to the office and sleeping was difficult due to all the noise. It almost sounded like a small gathering was going on and what I can only describe as a door bell ringing constantly I had to call the front desk to complain. It stopped immediately which we were so appreciative of."
"This hotel hasn’t been updated in a looooooong time. So some things were missing, like USB charging or even outlets on each side of the bed. The furnishings were also very out of date. That said, if you don’t care about the looks, the furniture was plenty comfortable, everything seemed clean, and the location is good. It’s a perfectly adequate hotel and the distance to Jedediah State Forest is unbeatable."
"I'm not sure where the cover picture was taken but it certainly wasn't our room. There was about a 1/4-1/2" gap under the outer door, the walls were very thin (we could hear the family next door until they graciously quieted down about 10:15 p.m. after I tapped on their door and told them we were headed to bed). Some of the wallpaper was ripped and the furniture was a bit of a hodge-podge. This property IS on the beach but for the rate they charge, there are MANY more properties in Crescent City that are newer and more affordable. This is an older motel with a bit of a run-down vibe. I don't usually write such negative reviews but our room was a very sad place."
"Door wouldn’t lock every time we shut it. Maintenance tried but still didn’t work. Rm 336. We had to use key to swipe and lock but that didn’t always work either. Oh well it was a great room w harbor view and great base to see the redwoods! Overall great experience. "
"The hotel looked terribly dated from the outside and in need of a paint job but the room was clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was super helpful and told us about things to do nearby."
