The breakfast buffet gave us a good start to our days touring and the bar was good for a wind down beverage in the evenings. The hotel is walking distance from a few restaurants and is close to the Damascus Gate. The location was a convenient start to our daily touring. It could use a little updating. Overall, a good place to stay.
So it was not as nice as I thought it would be. It was clean but old looking the bed was hard and it was hot in the room. Breakfast which is free is a huge selection, food was ok. I dont think its in a easy location to get around Jerusalem without having to drive your car which is not safe to do. We got there late and stayed one night but to me it seemed to not be in a good location to get around with a bus or train.
The room and common spaces were clean and well kept. The food in the restaurant was always excellent and plentiful. The staff was attentive to our needs and friendly.
The breakfast offered the vast choices that are often available in Israel, although it could be a bit hit and miss. The room was slightly tired but comfortable. The location near the Damascus Gate was unbeatable.
It was a great hotel with a fantastic breakfast! My only gripe is that the pull out couch was not very comfortable. It would have been better to have a room with two proper beds in it. Other than that, it was good!
The hotel is very nice with a comfortable, well-equipped room and an excellent breakfast.
Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk are in dire need of customer service training as i experienced some unprofessional and discourteous conduct. The location is in East Jerusalem and I don't think that it is convenient for walking to Ben Yehuda Street/Machane Yehuda or the old city. However, if you have a bus or a taxi, or you are comfortable with public transportation such as the train, it is fine.

King bed was made of two single beds which was inconvenient.
The only thing is the lack of variety at the bar menu. A guest should be able to order from the restaurant menu if he or she wants to eat at the bar area.
We had to fight to get anchovies in our pizza. Indicating no flexibility even though they have them available if you order a Caesar salad
