"OK, so this is a Days Inn and not the Ritz, so review is normalized to expectations. Why this property: needed a place to stay overnight passing through Chicago. The places downtown charge more for parking overnight than this place does for the room, so staying ~5-10 miles outside downtown didn't seem like a bad idea. If circumstances were different, I would not choose this place. However, this place fell a bit short of what I expected from Days Inn, hence 2 stars. Drive in. The property...

"Shuttle service from the airport to this hotel! You have to call and make reservations! Does not say that on their website! Very disappointed and had to get a very expensive Uber ride to the hotel! This was after long day of cancellations for flights and arrived at airport at 9:15pm. Was looking forward to getting on the “ free shuttle “ to this hotel and going to bed! Need to be clear on their website on “ shuttle!"

"The beds were clean but the room was dirty. The couch had crumbs on it and was so dirty we didn’t sit on it. There were no extra blankets, and when I asked for some at the front desk they gave me a bed sheet. The bathroom tub faucet dripped continuously. The curtains were falling off the wall when we arrived, and after I left they tried to charge me for the damage fee. They eventually gave me that money back though after I contested it with my bank.
