Generally, my family and I had a good stay. We however felt rushed to leave the room to allow for cleaning, with knocks and telephone calls to ask when we would vacate. Sometimes we were woken up by loud vacuum cleaning. It would be good to invest in training of the staff even if they are temporary. One was obviously unwell with a flu as she served breakfast. Another at the reception told us that '"I am only a student" when we pointed out a serious safety hazard and potential risk to injury: the reception desk sits on top of a raised area around which there are no barriers/rails. If a guest were distracted and moved backwards without looking, they could fall and get seriously injured. This needs urgent attention. Nevertheless, we would stay at the hotel again.

Amazing place full of tranquil. Will visit again when we get an opportunity. Very refreshing for the couple that needs time out to themselves. Well priced is worth every cent paid. The place is also well located with malls around with best facilities and easy access to the shops and freeway. 24 hours security visibility at the gate. Building and the yard well maintained and facilities I.e. pool. Secured parking lot visible to the security and reception. Food at the dining room well presented and served according to your preferences. Staff always willing to assist and encourage for more visits, advices on how to make bookings more easy by calling the hotel directly for sure case and secured booking for the future. If willing to book online to do and confirm by the call to avoid disappointments. Taken to the room, shown on how things worked and how to be connected to WiFi also instructions given out on the pamphlet. Room environment cost, comfortable and very neat. Advised on how to get hold of reception staff if needed help or services. Staff showed willingness to continuously improve by asking if our experience was good and to tell them if there was anything we were not happy about. Reception staff was also available and willing to assist as need arised. On the day we left they still asked we could come back and if we do to book for longer stay. In conclusion you have the Best staff running your business as if they owns it, not forgetting that they are also the stakeholders.

Compact, neat, and well equipped

Stayed here for a week. My room 22 had a frige, bath-tub, shower. Wifi was free and no-limit, but a bit slow. This hotel has gym, spa, swimming pool, restaurant, conference room. All the staffs are kind and well-trained.

Nice hotel with too relaxed staff

On arrival, I had to fill out a form in the parking lot under the rain for the security guy... Then, carrying my luggage (under the rain) without any help being offer by the same guy. At check-in, they first give me the wrong room. I followed the employee to the room and he realized that the room was either occupied or not ready (weird as the place looked empty). He want back to the reception to find the good room. I think there a management issue. Staff doesn't seem to be properly trained. Next evening when I arrived, I waited about 5 minutes at the entrance gate. I rang the bell, horned, no one was coming. Finally, after a big long horn, the security guy came from inside the main building. Arriving to my room, my card was demagnetized. Went back to reception to get it fixed... But the machine wasn't working. They tried and tried until they had to call someone. After 15-20 min of waiting, they finally opened the door with the master key. That also give me the opportunity to see that the security guard sits inside with the reception staff to chat instead of being alone near the gate. I was happy to leave the next morning. It was my second time at this hotel and probably the last one. Very sad because the place is really nice, but it seems difficult to keep staff motivated when a place is empty.

Qua comfort en design een uitstekend hotel. Het hotel ligt prima, aan het oosten van Pretoria op prettige afstand van de N1, de snelweg naar Johannesburg en O R Tambo International. De service is heel goed en het ontbijt is uitstekend.

The perfect boutique hotel

I had a great stay at Blue Diamond. The place is safe and gorgeous. I booked an executive room which was enormous! Breakfast was awesome and the staff kind and attentive. Didn't tried the spa or the pool, but both look great. The gym is well equipped for a small hotel like that, but the bike would need some repairs...
