CORRE QUE É CILADA!
Local escuro, parece uma caverna. De péssima localização, aparência feia e suja. Ar-condicionado não funciona, foi solicitado reparo automático afins é nada movimentado pela administração. Quartos sem janelas e abafados. Corredores de péssima iluminação, ambiente escuro e de difícil visualização das portas e elevadores. Inclusive tinha previsão de retorno e foi cancelado na primeira estadia. Fotos e etc.. no perfil do hotel são fakes, maquiadas!

Friendly staff and JMB home from home
Hotel was very nice, staff were really friendly, nice coffee shop/cafe downstairs for breakfast and the Marabi Club (Jazz club) downstairs in the basement was great. Area is fine to get Uber/taxi from but not advised to walk. Only one downside of the room was the shower wasn’t great, but rest of the room was nice. Would recommend.

Not impressed with the security.
We had someone enter our room in the middle of the night, even though I had bolted the door from the inside. This is unacceptable and should not have happened. Fortunately, the person who entered left when we shouted at them. There is also no temperature control in the room, and it was very hot for the first half of the night. The room faces the street, which is very noisy, especially on a weekend night.

Great hotel in the middle of it all
If you want a stay in a fantastic hotel that is right in the middle of Johannesburg...a hotel that is not located in the mostly-affluent sections of Johannesburg, containing all of the predictable and thus somewhat boring hotel brands, then this is the place for you. With its decor emphasizing an artistic avant garde expression, the staff is outstanding and always willing to help. Sure, the neighborhood is a bit more spicy than the all-too-safe and predictable hotel neighborhoods in the outlying areas of Johannesburg. But we felt fully supported by the staff, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe. The room was modern and tastefully appointed and the food was very good. We felt it was very well priced.

Great way to experience JHB in all its glory. Well-appointed rooms, super friendly staff, and great location for those looking to explore the inner city. Would totally recommend to anyone! Our go-to place when we visit Jozi!

The hotel is very nice. I especially like the way it’s decorated on the inside. I also like that they have a barbershop inside of the hotel lobby. The staff are very nice, especially Cindy. The views on the rooftop is amazing. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Excellent hôtel
L'hôtel est une belle découverte. La chambre est grande et confortable. Vous avez un petit balcon qui vous donne une vue agréable sur la ville. L'hôtel est bien insonorisé. Nous avons très bien dormi d'autant plus que le lit est très confortable Le personnel est très sympa. A l'accueil nous avons été bien renseignés pour visiter Johannesburg avec le bus hop on hop off. Dans le quartier il n'y a rien à faire mais utilisez UBER pour vous déplacer très facilement dans la ville pour 3/4€. Nous avons utilisé UBER pour aller voir les Orlando's Towers et la Mandela's house dans le quartier de Soweto ainsi que pour aller manger dans le centre commercial de Rosebank. Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel est très bon et copieux. Je vous recommande vraiment cet hôtel.

The property is by itself good, but the surrounding area outside the hotel does not make one feel safe and secure.

Great choice for Jo’burg
Lovely hotel in a hip part of town. Welcoming staff and spacious rooms with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Great coffee in the lobby too!

We stayed in Hallmark before the pandemic. The pandemic caused a lot of changes in the world. Airport pick up this time was not smooth. The restaurant whose food we remember so well and so fondly, is a skeleton now. But the friendliness of the staff once again won us over. Yes, if we come back to Joburg, we will stay here again.

Decent accommodation for a short stay
We only stayed there for about 7 hours while waiting for flight to depart, but it served the purpose. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Though the hotel is older and not in the best area it was well kept inside. The rooms were clean. We felt safe in the hotel.

We had a pleasant one night stay absolutely enjoyed the Rooftop bar. There just wasn’t drinking water in the room which was disappointing

Great Stay
Our stay was amazing, wish we would have picked a room with a better view. The one suggestion I’d make is to either have a printed menu for the restaurants in the suites so people can order if they choose to do so. Overall, the hotel is clean and service is good.

Wir waren mit unserem Hotelaufenthalt in allen Belangen sehr zufrieden, nur der angrenzende, gefährliche Stadtteil Hillbrow gab uns kein sicheres Gefühl bei unseren Exkursionen.

Awesome experience
from the second we arrived and greeted with a smile and welcomed by all their friendly and professional staff. Everything was perfect and exactly as the pictures show. Clean and neat with great features and attention to detail. We had a awesome dinner at the restaurant and the best cocktails at the rooftop bar. will definitely visit again.

Staff were all really friendly and great, room was nice, drinks at sunset on the roof was wonderful. Unfortunately it’s not in the safest most walkable area so we had to Uber everywhere but would definitely stay there again
