"This property is being neglected. It could be a beautiful place but it appears to be uncared for. Carpets in hallways are dirty, elevator dirty and the walls are stained. This hotel is in desperate need of some TLC."

"Just FYI their AC does NOT keep up and the AC units blow intermittently which makes it hard to sleep (blower coming on and off). I stayed for a week when I had to work in the area. When I'd get back to the hotel each evening around 5pm the room would be 74-76 degrees and it wasn't particularly hot outside that week. "Hotel room and bathroom dated. Breakfast on weekend had more options that weren’t available during the week such as fruit and oatmeal. There was communal half and half in unmarked container. I’ve stayed at other Holiday Inn’s and did not see this. Parking was difficult at times and spots were tight."

"This hotel is conveniently located across from Shenandoah University. The hotel rooms and bath are modern, crisp and clean. The continental breakfast was exceptional. The freshly baked cookies at 6 p.m. and fruitbowl throughout the day was an unexpected treat. The staff was very cordial and friendly. They made me feel at home. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Ashley and Luke were both amazing staff members during our stay. They were hospitable and extremely helpful from the moment we called and advised them that we would be arriving later than expected. Ashley told us to take our time and that Luke will be there to check us in. When we arrived, he made us feel like family. Each time they saw us for the days we stayed, they were engaging and made sure there wasn’t any at all we needed. Our family is thankful for them both."

"Our shower did not work. The faucet was broken. Reported it when we checked out. It is near the Shenandoah trail which we did and appreciated the location. Lots of fast food restaurants nearby. Breakfast was minimal, not unexpected."

"Really clean, well-maintained bathroom. No ridiculous caulk joints, grunge or grime in the corners. Tub and surround were WHITE, not yellow. Granite countertop with a nice clean sink. Better than average sheets and pillows. No curry smell when you walk into the lobby. These people clearly have pride in their motel and work to keep it nice."
