"My husband and I were impressed with the our short stay; the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Sadly, the TV is not a smart TV but luckily, it was quick trip for us. A firestick might come in handy.l for future reference. We highly appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and didnt have any issues."

"I enjoyed our stay very much. All The room face a quiet little courtyard with plenty of seating. The room was clean; the beds were comfortable; the air conditioning worked without issues. The room has a small coffee maker and coffee, and a hair dryer. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, a Dairy Queen and Overview Diner. (I highly recommend breakfast at Overview Diner!). The staff/owners are available 24/7 and helpful."

"The only good thing about the hotel was the location to the festival. They are more concerned about catering to their elite members. Our check-in was delayed by 1 hour which is 5pm because they allow their elite members a 4 pm checkout! While the lobby is really nice the room was mediocre and out dated. The AC never cooled off, the toilet didn't flush correctly, the water pressure in the shower only worked if the water was on super hot. For the cost this should have been a lot better...

"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"The property was located close to everything- could walk to the marina and activités. Both restaurants were excellent. Staff was efficient and friendly. Room was clean, well appointed and spacious."

"If you’re on a budget then suck it up and use them but be prepared for hardship. It smells like smoke and urine. No overnight room service for towels or etc. Breakfast is sad. Not recommended for families or children young in age. They will do their best to make things work. Pool needs to be cleaned. Otherwise housekeeping staff is fantastic!!!"

"The room was clean but the beds were small, the staff was great and helpful. The restaurant was great , the snack bar was to expensive it should be free to the people who stay there. The room needed to be bigger with bigger beds and more than one chair . It was to small for two adults and one child. Will I stay again? No ,to expensive and I didn't get my deposit back."

"First the building is extremely old and very dirty looking that it could pass for an abandoned building. When we checked into our room on the first floor, the bedding had blood stains and the bathroom shower door couldn’t open all the way due to the toilet being in the way which was very odd. Once we went back to the desk which by the way had 2 sides for 2 different hotels which was odd. We explained the issue and showed pictures in which we were given another room on the third floor. wanted a...

"This is a very attractive alternate to staying on Norfolk side of the river with easy access via ferry. Staff were awesome and property appeared brand new due to recent upgrades. Breakfast buffet was awesome as was Daruis who waited on us. Great stay!"

"Nice clean rooms. Pretty view of the water from the restaurant, and easy walk to the water taxi. Great breakfast buffet. Just beware of promises for adjoining rooms or specific room types next to each other. Normally we can be flexible, but this trip it mattered and wasn't fulfilled."
