"Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. "wat goed is , is de plek van de accommodatie, en de schhonheid/kwaliteit van de lakens. slecht is de kwaliteit van de inventaris, de grootte van de televisie, het aanwezig zijn van receptiepersoneel bij aankomst, het onderhoud van de gebouwen, vooral de buitenzijde. ook de mogelijkheid van elektrisch laden. deze was er wel, maar werkte niet! misschien weet een kenner er wel mee omgaan, maar de doorsnee gebruiker niet. kortom niet voor herhaling vatbaar."

"Clean cabin however the WiFi did not work in the cabin. You have to purchase both the bed sheets and the towels in a bundle and cannot purchase just one. This was not clearly written in the description. Also you had to buy a token to take a 5 min shower which I was not aware of based on the description. "

"Wir kamen von einer Radtour im Regen sehr nass zurück. Uns wurde sofort ein sehr warmer Trockenraum für all unsere Sachen angeboten, die am nächsten Tag komplett trocken waren. Das Diner- und Frühstücksbuffet hatten eine große Auswahl und es war sehr lecker. Einzig das Bad war renovierungsbedürftig."

"Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!"

"The fjord view is stunning. That said, be mindful cruise ships port and thus your view will include a cruise ship and the thousands of people they bring in daily. Tours busses also drop off hundreds of people at this hotel and thus make dining and such incredibly hectic. Also note, the bar is open on the balcony which allows for loud drunk people through the night hours. The most peaceful part of our stay was between 2am - 6am. The staff is wonderful!"

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
