"This hotel is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Marbella! It has a rooftop terrace that is great for a sunset drink! The room was compact but had all that we needed. The breakfast buffet was a bit confusing…it would be better to increase the price slightly so the guest doesn’t feel like they’re being “nickel and dimed.” Boiled eggs were on the buffet, but if you wanted scrambled, it was a €3.00 surcharge. "We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall. We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!"
