"This property was perfect for quietness, with only the sounds of the birdlife. Every morning at 6am there was chanting sounds for five minutes. For me, the other all condition of the property was adequate, if you can overlook the minor repair works that were needed, sweet! "We liked our stay at Smaranala as a stopover to our next stay. The room was nice and the pool excellent. The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. It is located in a strange residential place, not really close to any shops or food opportunities (you´ll find them after a lot of walking in unlit roads). Unfortunately the breakfast was not included, which is always disappointing."
