"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Fittings, furnishings etc very jaded with woodwork and decor in need of substantial repair - I guess it's what makes it affordable. Thought I'd enjoy a bath in the elegant tub, but the water ran brown with rust - clearly no-one had ever used it, or checked it in recent times. "We loved our stay at the Kimpton Margot Hotel, location is so close to train , rail, metro and bus. The hotel building was beautiful, and the staff super helpful. So many unexpected "extras" , from the free bikes to rent, juice in the morning, and complimentary "happy hour". We would not hesitate to return. One of our favourite hotel stays!"

"It is conveniently located near the Light rail and train station. The staff were helpful and kind and made our stay pleasant. The bed is so comfy to sleep in. Although breakfast is order in, there are plenty of foods nearby that is easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
