"Amongst the top experiences I've ever had staying someplace while traveling. Stumbled across Baxter's and chose it for it's location which worked for my long distance bicycle tour. Little did I know that it was going to be a great experience along with the location. Small place with REAL personality. Baxter is funny, relatable, and so easy to talk to. The beer is excellent and available. Really worth a visit, just because. "

"We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. "Super nice area just outside of downtown Charleston in a charming traditional neighborhood. Nice staff, beautiful room and balcony. Restaurant downstairs was a bonus. I didn't get to take advantage of the nearby pool as it was too cold. I'd love to stay here again."

"This place is truly a gem both in terms of accommodations as well as hosts. Zack and Rob were so welcoming and just plain friendly we could have talked for hours. The home is one that my wife and I will be frequenting often. She is from Charleston and to find this beautiful quiet home that is so convenient to downtown is a treasure.
