"The Whitney Inn is a charming and cozy retreat in a stunning mountain setting. Our room was perfectly equipped for a restful night’s sleep and a refreshing start to each hiking day. The on-site Shovel Handle Pub served excellent food and cocktails, and the outdoor fire pits with Adirondack chairs and complimentary marshmallows added a warm, welcoming touch. A perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and rustic charm."

"We stayed here to ride our bikes on the presidential rail trail in Gorham and float on the Saco. North Conway is a great place to be close to nature and still be near restaurants and necessities. The Golden Gables was located in a spot that is easy to get in and out of. The grounds and pool were refreshing after spending the day bike riding. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. We were on the first floor so we could house our bikes at night. It was a great value. "

"Clean, inexpensive and super convenient to downtown North Conway. The staff was very accommodating. There’s a nice pool in the back, which we didn’t know about until we checked in. It’s not fancy but definitely a great deal for the area. "
