"Needed a reasonably-priced hotel room in Hudson. Didn't know what to expect from the Navigator, but since it was so well-priced (for night I needed) I just needed it to be fine. It turned out to be unexpectedly good. Room was very clean, well-appointed, tastefully-designed, and with a very comfortable bed. And there's easy on-site parking. If you need on-premises staff to check you in or just be there, this might not be for you. Here, you book your room, they send you a code for access to the hotel and your room. Hotel was very quiet. Saw other guests checking in at same time, then checking out. Other than that, I could've been there alone. The common spaces (I didn't really use) are also very nice. Hotel has maritime theme, and that's tastefully woven through the property. The stained glass windows might not be maritime, but add character and charm. I forgot my toothpaste, and there was none in the hotel, so maybe there could be a stash somewhere for small, predictable needs for forgetful guests. But that's a small thing. It's also a very short walk to two of Hudson's best restaurants-- Feast and Floret (about a 45-second walk) and Maker Hotel/Serre, a few minutes walk. I'll be back."
