"This property is a gem! From the spices, cookware, dishes, and towels in the kitchen, to the extra pillows, blankets, cots, and air mattresses for the bedrooms, to the boards and sleds for fun at the Dunes, everything was clean and well-stocked. It's a very private spot, so our family was able to just enjoy the getaway and focus on each other without the distraction of needing or worrying about the property. Great Sand Dunes Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"The beds were ok and the room was clean. Beautiful view, close to park entrance"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alamosa by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were kind and professional. The only issue was that the elevator was out of service, but before I confirmed my room, a pop-up notified me so I could cancel the reservation if it would be a problem. The breakfast offered plenty of warm and cold options. The bed and pillows were luxurious, and I slept wonderfully. On arrival, throughout my stay, and at checkout, the staff kept offering me water, fresh coffee, and treats. I'm coming back in April, and I'll be booking with them again."

Dodgeton Creek Inn

8/10 Good

"Booked online the morning of our reservation. Mike didn’t see it. Got in late (around 7) and had trouble finding Mike to get into our room. Once we got in , the room was large and the bed was comfortable. Forgot to put towels in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Also hard to find with a tree growing in front of the sign"

Rustic Rook Resort Great Sand Dunes

10/10 Excellent

"This was a last minute booking but everything went smoothly. We booked one of the tents and had to open it to clear out the canvas smell from being shut up all day but the smell cleared out fast. The only thing I would have requested was to be closer to the shared bathrooms. We were as far away as you could get. Bathroom were clean. Hosts were wonderful. S'mores by the campfire in the evening - what's not to like!"
