"The property location I found was very good; close to downtown and close to the venue we needed to go to, and over-all met our expectations. However, I found the property showing its age and was disappointed that there were no extras, like coffee/tea in the common area or attractive common areas. Instead, it cost me $12 for two cups of coffee (plus tip). This property would really benefit from offering a free breakfast as the rooms and hotel seem to be aging and lack other amenities like a pool or decent gathering areas aren't there. Bathroom area seemed outdated and shower floor was like stepping on ice when it was wet, it seemed very slippery. Also, no microwave and very small refrigerator with no ice area."

"Checking in was very pleasant and we enjoyed the spacious room we had. We were on the side of traffic, however, with the fan running that helped drown out the noise too (not the hotel's fault). For breakfast, we looked forward to the hot meal, however it was a packed hotel of construction workers and also guests who were in for a special event at the transportation museum. The items were placed out at 6am and by 6:30, about all the items had been wiped out and the receptionist was having to do double duty of cooking and running the desk. She had said she would go fix items and have it out in 5 minutes. Of course, it was even longer, and by 7:30 most guests who were there, gave up and left. On Saturday, there was someone who was attending just the breakfast area, but again, items had ran out and it was not quick to replenish. The receptionist did not seem like it was a big deal about any of the issues. I was disappointed that the hotel did not manage well for this big weekend. We were hearing the hotel had been sold out, so you would think more personnel should have been made available, or the staff should've already been cooking extra items. I know it's easy to critique, however, I hope they will do better or not sell all the rooms if you can't manage. Again, the rooms were nice/clean, just need to work on the managing the breakfast."

"Hotel is not smoke free a lot of marijuana and a lot of cigarettes and rooms so if you do want a smoke free room good luck the room that we had said it was smoke-free but you can tell people smoke in it that day, but it was super clean the hotel pool was clean and it felt good. The breakfast was not worth $10 is your typical hotel breakfast that’s usually free at a Hilton Garden Inn or the country and suites but she will not find any kind of staff anywhere else. They have great snacks and a good prices, but I do wish they wouldn’t allow smoking in the rooms. If we go back to Winston-Salem, we will definitely stay there again, but I will make sure that I tell them that the room has to be smoke free. Maybe they need to put an air purifier after every guest if they smoke and tried to hefty fee!"

"This is my go-to place to stay when I am in Lexington on business or vacation. Convenient location with numerous restaurant options nearby - within walking distance. I very much enjoyed speaking to Charlie, who was the evening office staff. He was enjoyable to speak to and very helpful regarding the community. I will be back. Thank you."
