"After a 15-day road trip staying only in roadside motels, I can assure you this is the cleanest room we stayed in. I was more than a little concerned when we pulled into the complex and saw it was an RV park. There was serious construction on one side, old single-wide trailers on the other. We had to check in at the RV check-in through a window. I was fully prepared to keep driving and go elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the back of the park; right on the river was a well-kept motel block. Our unit had been remodeled and had everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. While the bed was eh, comfortable, the view, patio, cleanliness, and spaciousness were fantastic. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it seemed well equipped. There was a laundry in the motel block. Access to the river isn't anywhere I would have kids (or myself) getting into the water; the boat ramp was fine, but the dock is closed. Finally, it was quiet- so incredibly quiet. Though there were a gajillion campers nearby, it was quiet and peaceful.
We ate dinner & breakfast at the casino. My husband left his expensive sunglasses on the table, and we realized by the time we made it back. By the time we returned to the casino, the glasses were already at security. They were fantastic, too!
If I had it to do over, I would have stayed several days there rather than moving motels every few days. Oh, and the staff at the office? Super helpful and kind!"
