"Great, clean place to spend an evening after a long hiking day in fresh air. Jacuzzi and pool work well for relaxing and preparing for the next trip. Bar and bartender are a great addition to finish the day. Price, location, and breakfast are really fair. Enjoy!"

"We only stayed one night as we were driving through Escanaba. Location worked well for our travel plans. A big plus was the nice Italian restaurant in the hotel so we didn't need to worry about find a place when arriving at 7pm. We asked to be seated in the bar area and was served by the bartender. She could not have been nicer letting us take our time after a long day of travel. A negative, however, was the poor offering from the hotel in the morning. They say they have "breakfast" but it was undrinkable coffee and granola bars. The restaurant offers a discount to hotel guests for breakfast so that's clearly what they expect you to do. Otherwise the room was clean and adequately large for a one-night stay."

"It was a very basic hotel and very reasonably priced. Even though it was on the main highway through town it was pretty quiet in the hotel. Easy to walk to Culver's across the street for a after dinner custard treat!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. I think that our room had been recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. We were up on the second floor, with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and the beach. The only downside to the view is that anyone walking outside of the room could peer right in, so we didn't leave the blinds open. It would have been nice to have some type of 'one way' privacy blind, or perhaps a mirror coating on the outside of the window. We hadn't really planned to sit in the room and look outside, but that would have been a plus. The stairs to get from the parking lot up to the second floor had VERY worn carpeting. It gave a very deceiving bad impression of the otherwise nice facility. The check in area was clean and welcoming, and the receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was simple but adequate for grab and go."
