"Loved the view. Loved the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. On-site restaurant and coffee shop were lovely. Our balcony had a hornet’s nest in the overhead light & someone was frequently smoking on a nearby balcony/patio making our outside space unusable."

"Our room was great. Only downside is the noise that comes from the major highway out front. That road starts to roar with trucks before 6 AM and doesn't stop till after 11 PM. Having said that we absolutely LOVED taking our chairs and cooler down to the shore of lake Michigan on the property's private beach. This chill time was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip. Would absolutely stay here again."

"This hotel is just basic lodging. If your standards are low, this hotel is OK for you (bed, toilet, shower, leave). Only one person on site spoke english. Check in time was 4 PM EST. I arrived at 6 PM EST and my room was not ready. Had to wait an hour."

"We were on a vacation for a week, with no plans; we stopped when we wanted and seen what we wanted and didn't use technology, it was amazing and this was the nicest room we stayed in. The room was clean and taken care of and the bed was amazing. Thank you so much for our stay."

"room stunk (girl from desk came up and told me if she sprayed i had to leave for an hour...at 9 pm), bed was warped at head sunk in feet normal, staff rude when checking in, breakfast was low options, air conditioner did not work. Then i complained they gave me 20.00 off of 180.00. never go there. A person at the local Casino asked where i was staying, when i said Travelodge in Escanaba, they said do you like it? I said omg NO. They said its known to be the worst place in town."
