"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"The staff was so friendly, I even overslept and called to see if breakfast was still out and I was able to come down and get a plate. They helped answer questions I had about the area. The market area had things in it that were great to see and that are actually useful when traveling. I enjoyed the hot tub and was happy to see they didn’t close it early because no one was using it. The bed was perfect for my liking and the pillows weren’t the typical hotel pillows that go flat. I’d defiantly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!"
