"Nice place to stay. Very close to the state park. Bathroom is downstairs, not by the bedrooms. Lots of insects on the bottom floor."

"We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. "The property is very remote, which is not sufficiently described in the ad. By this I mean NO CELL PHONE service within a 10 mile radius. There is NO WIFI service. Totally unsafe for BIPOC travelers and you will not be able to communicate with the outside world. Not as described at all and no accommoadation for the discrepancy between what is advertised and what is actually there"

"Truly a hidden gem !Very Clean, quiet! Fully furnished, was quite surprising! Family enjoyed the quick little stay! Bakery at bottom of hill was a treasure to find! FYI don’t drive a luxury or antique car to this location, it’s off the beaten path but TOTALLY worth it!"
