"Cute retro vibe, our room had loud ac/ furnace . They did try and provide ‘sound machine ‘. I’m a light sleeper. Otherwise nice staff , have bicycle loaners for riding around town."

"First time I’ve ever made a loop through the parking lot and said oh hell no we ain’t staying there. Very rundown. Half the windows were open so I doubt the AC works. There were a few unsavory looking characters having a tailgate social in the parking lot to top it off. We never even checked in and they refused us a refund. I was ok with taking the loss and finding a safer place to stay."

"This place is perfect for your stay in Salida, Colorado. Clean, courteous, and centrally located. We were just passing through and stayed in The Francis Airstream. Slept 3 comfortably. Highly recommend and we will be back"

"I was there by myself. I needed a place to stay I felt safe. While this is an older motel it was clean. I did find a couple bugs inside. PLUS, you could see through the bottom of the entry door Nice shower. Bed was squeaky and not the best mattress. But owner was super nice. I would stay there again."
