"Started badly. First person at Reception wasn't pleasant or helpful and totally lackluster. She left us standing to wait for a manager. I offered to let her serve others waiting behind me. She said it wasn't necessary. Breakfast was missing cutlery. Room was clean. Shower didn't have hot water, just luke warm. There were no amenities in bathroom. 3 tissues in the box? I was disappointed because I remembered it being nicer and worth the price. "

"The Residence Inn is within the area we always travel to. The rooms are great, the carpet, the tile, the tops of all tables and dressers, bathroom, kitchen, etc. always very clean. We never have been there when everything was not clean and in order. The Staff are always friendly and helpful. Every hotel or motel should be like this one. We have stayed at other places in the Jackson, TN area before, but when we found this one we don't bother to go anywhere else."

"The room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The outside of the building is in disrepair. Breakfast was adequate but biscuits and gravy would have been nice. Had to get ice from the lobby and the shower did not have hot water. Liked that there was no carpet on the floor but you could see light under the closed door. Overall, not a bad deal on a budget."

"Good beds. Cleanliness was not the best. Hair in shower on walls, in corners of the bathroom, we could see through to the outside between the wall and our wall heating/air conditioning unit. It worked, but if I could stay in a place that was cleaner, I would have."
